Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Zen Cleaner mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Zen Cleaner is an iPhone utility that helps you find and remove duplicate and similar photos, blurred shots, screenshots, screen recordings and large videos, compress videos, and clean up duplicate or empty contacts. All processing happens on your device. The App does not upload your photos, videos or contacts to any server.

2. Your content and your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the photos, videos, contacts and other content on your device and for the actions you take in the App.

Deletion is your decision. The App never deletes anything without your explicit action, and it always asks iOS to confirm before removing photos or videos. Deleted photos and videos are moved to the Recently Deleted album, where iOS keeps them for 30 days so you can restore them. Contact changes (merges and deletions) are applied to your device's contacts on your confirmation.

We strongly recommend keeping a current backup of your device (for example, via iCloud or a computer) before performing bulk cleanups. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss of photos, videos, contacts or other data resulting from your use of the App.

3. Subscriptions

The App offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Zen Cleaner Pro, which unlocks the full set of cleaning features. The following terms apply:

• Billing. Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through In-App Purchase

and charged to your Apple Account.

• Free trial. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is

forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

• Auto-renewal. A subscription automatically renews at the end of each period

unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription in

Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

• Prices. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region.

We may change prices for future billing periods; any change will be presented to you before it takes effect.

• Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to

Apple's policies; we are unable to issue refunds directly.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App except to the extent

expressly permitted by applicable law;

• interfere with or attempt to disrupt the App's intended operation.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its design, code and branding are owned by us and our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its similarity detection or "best shot" suggestions will be accurate in every case. You review your selections before deleting.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, photos, videos or contacts, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
